Social Media Management Portfolio

My experience with social media began when I was in my final year of university and working on my thesis project. I managed our social media account where we were able to raise over $2500 to fund our ambitious video production.

After university, I expanded my career in social media management when I was hired as a freelancer/small business to The Trebek Initiative. A non-profit organization that is dedicated to funding projects from selected filmmakers, scientists, educators, etc who become Trebek grantees and go out into the field of any location across Canada to complete their project concerning a specific sector of environmental conservation.

I grew the account to gain more followers and have significantly increased engagement with the grantees. I took on a Social Media Management role where I pitched content ideas, did the graphic design and edited reels for all the posts over the course of a year.
